Police Do Be Out

Submitter Susan adds that "This sign comes from a gun club (a clubhouse for men with guns who like to drink beer in the woods) in Northeastern PA."
This is classic. I think there are quotation marks around "when leaving party" because, I mean, if you're that fun, you ARE the party - so you never leave it. Also, the duct tape holding it up is a nice detail.

Maybe the quotes around the first line are meant to indicate that you shouldn't actually take the note. I'm feeling charitable.

I think that "police do be out" was supposed to be "please (put your) doobie out".

holy crap in a paper bag, that's ridiculous. what's going through someone's head as they're writing those quote marks? aside from "police do be out," that is.

A manilla folder... Why not? I bet they're getting a lot of "filing" done.

It is very important to capitalize the last letter in a sentence.

beautiful!

wait a minute, if susan took a pic of this sign that meant that she was AT this party of men drinking beer and shooting guns in the woods...

The police DO be out? SERIOUSLY? And I thought people in my math class couldn't use verbs properly...

This is great. I'm sure that people "do be getting pulled over" if they go over 25mph.

Maybe the last part means, "Police! Doobie: out!"

I like that every word is underlined, clearing putting the emphasis on the sign's stupidity.

I like that the words, "Police Do Be OuT" aren't the ones in quotations. Also, I don't think anybody has mentioned yet that in addition to the poor grammar on "Do," the note also says "'Drive Slow'" instead of slowly! I love this sign!

I didn't read the sign correctly on my first post--can you really blame me?

"Police do be out" - sounds OK to me but then that do be how people talks where I do be living. (no, nowhere in the US.)
